Job Summary:
The Store Crew plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the store. This position involves a variety of tasks to support daily store activities, maintain a clean and organized environment, and provide excellent customer service. The Store Crew member will work collaboratively with other team members to achieve overall store goals and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
1. Customer Service:
- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Provide product information and assistance with inquiries.
- Ensure a positive shopping experience for customers.
2. Store Maintenance:
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the store.
- Restock shelves and merchandise according to store standards.
- Assist in inventory management and stock rotation.
- Perform regular checks for expired or damaged products.
3. Cashier Duties:
- Operate cash registers and handle customer transactions accurately.
- Process payments, returns, and exchanges following established procedures.
- Maintain a balanced cash drawer and reconcile transactions.
4. Merchandising:
- Set up displays and promotional signage as directed.
- Monitor product levels and communicate restocking needs to supervisors.
- Ensure that merchandise is presented attractively and according to company guidelines.
5. Team Collaboration:
- Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve common goals.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and fellow crew members.
- Assist in training new team members as needed.
6. Compliance and Security:
- Adhere to store policies and procedures.
- Monitor and report any security or safety concerns to management.
- Follow cash handling and security protocols.
Flexibility:
- Willingness to perform various tasks and adapt to changing priorities.
- Assist in other areas of the store as needed, including during peak times.
Qualifications:
- Previous retail / F&B Indusrty / Hospitality or customer service experience preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
- Basic math skills for cashier duties.
- Physical ability to lift and move merchandise.
